A fast-growing health and wellness 'disrupter' seeks a highly motivated and digitally savvy Marketing executive. for a role in the upper mid-west. The Chief Marketing Officer will to drive and develop the marketing strategy and execution for an omni-channel Consumer Products company.
You will be an essential member of the management team in a well-funded startup. You will be responsible for driving revenue and customer acquisition for category disruptor in the health and wellness sector. The ideal candidate will be able to build a brand around the differentiated services in Consumer Health, software and hardware.
The CMO will report to the CEO and will have material input into the company’s corporate strategy, competitive positioning, and growth plans to support aggressive targets. Compensation for the role will include base, bonus, equity and full range of company benefits.
Initially, your direct reports will include: 2 marketing managers and a growing team in Graphic Design.
Your To Do List…
- Build and own all marketing, its brand voice, customer acquisition and retention strategies, and creative assets.
- Own all market analysis, strategic planning, branding, demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, pricing, messaging, distribution channel relationships and partnership programs.
- Help establish brand as a thought leader while driving customer acquisition and conversion across all channels (blogs, social, influencers, etc.)
- Help set the strategy and tactically execute on customer retention strategies.
- Identify consumer insights across our various segments and translate those insights into strategy and action.
- Grow brand voice, both inside and outside of the company
- Partner with agencies and other external partners to execute on a cohesive content strategy.
- Analyze and optimize our marketing campaigns based on data, not just intuition.
- Work with Business Development team to craft a strategy for to attract and convert key customer cohorts using modern inbound marketing techniques.
- Build out a PR voice for company.
- Help identify key customer personas and build targeted content campaigns to nurture and convert those personas.
We are looking for a high-energy, entrepreneurial marketing executive who can demonstrate experience in 95% of the responsibilities above. You must also be passionate about consumer health products and the category.
