We have been retained to find a President for a CPG natural products company on the west coast.
The President is responsible for providing strategic leadership for a growing CPG company focused on the 'healthy' and natural categories. The President will work with the management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. The President has general management and supervision of the day-to-day business affairs, operations, and employees of the organization.
***The position is located in the Pacific Northwest. Relocation will be offered.
Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining and growing company’s mission, profitability and fulfilling required benchmarks.

Carry out the direction and policies of the Board.

Work closely with and assist the Board in carrying out his/her duties and maintain regular contact and communications
-
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
-
Participate in the development of the company's plans and programs as a strategic partner.

Evaluate and advise on the impact of short and long range planning, budgets and operating plans for Company as approved by the Board.

Develop, evaluate, advise, and report new business opportunities, strategies, and regulatory action.

Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization (i.e., evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions, mergers, and/or business development and investments).

Minimum Qualifications:
-
Full P&L experience running all aspects of a $40-50M(plus) retail channel business or company division;

Ten (10) years’ executive/senior level management;
-
Experience in managing retail sales channels, operations, and supply chain;

Understanding of complex regulatory environments (i.e. personal care, food, OTC, dietary supplements, and/or international);

A Bachelor’s Degree in business (or related);
-
Ability to successfully pass a background check;
-
Ability to travel.
