Marketing Director - Consumer B2B

Growing consumer health company seeks a high-caliber marketing executive to lead the B2B and B2C marketing efforts for the organization. Position is located in Florida. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze organizational sales and marketing needs and develop and implement a disruptive strategic marketing communications plan to build a sustainable business model for company in the B2B space.
• Work closely with the sales team to create Sales & Marketing plan and develop consistent sales content and tools to achieve sales & marketing goals.
• Utilize primary and secondary research to define gaps, growth markets, innovation, consumer and industry trends and customer opportunities.
• Translate features into benefits and build compelling value propositions that resonate with the customers (dietary supplement brands), trade (retailers, e-commerce platforms) and consumers (end users). The approach will be similar to ‘Intel-Inside’. Establishes target customer lists for select innovations and target customer introductions.
• Develop robust sales lead generation process to improve quality and quantity of sales leads with goal of increasing market share for company products.
• Leverage company’s strategic work in the Direct-to-Consumer space to create a more consumer-centric organization that delivers increased customer value in our B2B efforts.
• Develop and manage media planning, trade shows, agency partners, website and PR strategy.
• Act as spokesperson for the company with press and at industry events.
• Establish, grow and maintain relationships with industry KOLs, agency partners and trade media.
• Partner with staff and agency team members to architect an integrated marketing strategy.
• Manage budgets, track marketing execution performance, and report to management.
• Work with agency partners to maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, social media, branding, promotional materials, and events.
• Drive organizational alignment around the brand value propositions and mission to ensure a consistent voice in the market.

Skills and Experience:   


• Strategic marketing experience with 7-10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience to include product marketing, brand management and communications.
•  Must have 3-5+ years experience working a Consumer ackaged Goods (CPG) or Over-the-Counter (OTC) health product organization. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in marketing and communications with strength in positioning, brand development, digital marketing, event marketing, marketing operations, content strategy, media relations, innovation and strategic thought leadership.
• Experiential knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing.
• Strong ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication skills across all platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required; MBA highly preferred.
